Once upon a time there was a curly-haired bunch of spunk named Sara who got bored. True to her inner spunkiness, however, she found herself something that would keep her occupied in addition to providing an outlet for her impressive wit. What was this outlet you may wonder? Why, it was a blog! Sure to prove to be an endless supply of amusement for herself and anyone else afflicted by the ever-dreaded affliction of boredom, this tech-savvy college student logged online and created this very post you see before your own two eyes now. And for those of you who feel that this example of eloquent mastery of the English language has been insufficient to satisfy your thirst for entertainment, Sara suggests you embark on an adventure by trying one of the following thrilling activities:
-sidewalk chalking
-video tape yourself singing 'I'm a little teapot' with corresponding choreography
-teach yourself to play the harmonica
-blow bubbles (aim for the biggest one the world has ever known)
-finger paint with colored pudding
-attempt to paint a smiley face with nail polish on a big toe (preferrably a big toe belonging to someone napping at the time)
-create and play your own game of twister
-beat your best solitaire score
-make a sock puppet, name it Ernie, go looking for Burt
-research what savasana is and try to do it
-do a cartwheel
-go puddle-jumping
-play dress up
-lip sync to the radio (prefferably with enthusiasm to a song you haven't heard before)
-put on your most slippery socks, clear a path on some smooth surface, run as fast as you can on it
-steal the soap out of the bathroom and try to carve a self-portrait with it
-do the math and find out just how many balloons it would take to lift you to a height of 20 ft.
